David Preshaah is the Director of Hoxton Radio, an audio magazine that brings together fashion, art and music. Outside of work, he enjoys live music, visiting galleries and exhibitions.
When asked about when he feels the most comfortable in himself, it is whenever he interacts with music: “Reading about a new album, hearing something for the first time, being in a guik. Just being around music, it has been a major part of my life since I was born”.
Being who you are for David means being able to express yourself through your interests and your passions in your personality and work. Working in a creative industry allows him to think clearly and positively express himself in the way he wants to be seen and listened to.
Friends and peers have always been a source of inspiration for him as they drive him to succeed in his life. Sharing his ideas and looking up to friends drives him to succeed himself. Music is a key element for David, which guides him to follow his interests and passions.
David describes East London as a vibrant ambience with cool people full of energy, inspiration and vibes “East London is a place that never really sleeps.”
